We can assist you to avoid a suspension o f your driver's license or privileges to drive in the State of Maryland. However, you must request a hearing within 30 days of your offense date.
If your test result is an alcohol concentration of at least 0.08 but less than 0.15:
a. For a first offense, your license/priveleges can be suspended for a period of 45 days.
b. For a second or subsequent offense, your license/priveleges can be suspended for a period of 90 days.
If your test result is an alcohol concentration of 0.15 or more:
a. For a first offense, your license/priveleges can be suspended for a period of 90 days.
b. For a second or subsequent offense, your license/priveleges can be suspended for a period of 180 days.
If you refuse to submit a test your license/privileges to drive in the State of Maryland can be suspended by the MVA for the following periods:
a. For a first offense, a suspension period of 120 days.
b. For a second or subsequent offense, a suspension for 1 year.
